On the university's ecology department and in the scientifically-educationally-manufacturing center "Eco-Podillya" active research work is done on observing, collecting and processing the information on the environment condition, future situation forecasts and the development of correct recommendations for the improvement of authority decisions.


    Department's staff (head of the ecology department - C.T.S. associate professor - Shtangret V.P.) conduct scientific research in the following directions:
  • Forecasting and modeling the environment condition:
    • Environment pollution modeling;
    • Biological waste processing systems modeling and modernization;
  • Bio testing and bio-indication of different objects in nature;
  • Radioactive environment testing;
  • Environment, soil, biological life, urban areas monitoring, radio-ecological territory evaluation;
  • Anthropogenic impact on the natural environment normalization, the study of industrial influence on the atmosphere condition and water resources;
  • Man's ecology;
  • Podillya ecosystem optimization, the definition of natural territories in the environment protection;
  • Student and youth ecological education improvement.

Хмельницька атомна станція
    Scientists of the SEMC "Eco-Podillya" (scientific director - C.C.S. associate professor Semeniuk V.I.) scientific research in the following directions:
  • The creation of normative projects for industrial institutions emittions;
  • The evaluation of industrial institutions' impact on the environment;
  • Industrial manufacturing ecological improvement research.

Закладання парку делегатами
The normative projects have been developed for more than 100 companies. Such as "Ukrelectroaparat", "Bozhikovetskiy Starch Factory", Khmel'nits'kiy "Maslosirbaza", "Khmel'nits'kiy technological station", "Ukr-sugar".
ОВНС have been developed for the mining companies such as Kamianets Podil'skiy, Letichiv, Volochis'k regional open-cast mines.
